Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Lanice Lawrence & Associates. To ensure efficient service for all clients, please review the specific terms for your appointment type below. 1. COMPLIMENTARY DISCOVERY CALLS Since this service is free, our policy protects our time. One-Time Courtesy: This 15-minute session is complimentary. We ask that you value our time as we value yours. No-Shows: If you miss your scheduled call without prior notice, you will not be permitted to book another free discovery call. Any future appointments will require a Paid Consultation booking. Lateness (5-Minute Rule): There is a strict 5-minute grace period. If you do not join the call within 5 minutes, the appointment is automatically cancelled and marked as a No-Show. 2. PAID CONSULTATIONS (Service Fee) Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. This fee covers the professional time reserved specifically for you. Rescheduling: If you reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, your payment will automatically transfer to the new appointment time. Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to attend the appointment, your payment is forfeited and will not be refunded. This compensates the firm for the lost time slot. 3. TAX PREPARATION (Deposits) Deposits: For tax preparation services, a non-refundable deposit may be required to begin work. This deposit is credited toward your final tax preparation invoice. Forfeiture: If you abandon the tax filing process or cancel your intake appointment last minute, this deposit is non-refundable.
